A new Kindle 2 will run you $299 at Amazon now. Keep this in mind when you're shopping around for a used Kindle 2. Under normal circumstances, you shouldn't pay more than this for a used Kindle unless the seller has bundled some other accessories with it. With the recent news that the Kindle DX has sold out yet again, it's probably going to be a while before a steady stream of the used Kindle DX shows up on eBay. In my searching, I've seen many of the Kindle Covers for the DX pop up and many of the "3rd party" varieties that I'd never recommend buying, but only a handful of DX units at a slightly inflated price.
